“Initially trained in theater, Andressa Cantergiani (Caxias do Sul, 1980) makes the body the driving force behind her work, as a theme, a social site, and the materialization of her poetics. Beginning with performance and moving through a variety of media and proposals, she has dedicated herself to new languages made possible by the use of technology. Her recent work can be understood through the lens of time-based art, or artistic production based on time. In other words, works of art that depend on time, duration or presentation. This includes video, film, and audio works that have a duration; installation works that need to be experienced in space over time; and works that function only during the time they are displayed, such as web art and other productions based on computers and/or mediated by technological devices”
Bruna Fetter, Curator of current solo show MAC/RS
" Tearing apart the social fabric is never out of context. The issue is personal, yes, loneliness when placed publicly can be understood as a consequence of the structure. She has the courage to expose her features to welcome and be welcomed. There is a poetry in her work that only a few intelligences can promote. "

![MORTA SIM, BERLIM!
[Morgen Ist Die Frag]
(2021)
Amanhã é a pergunta.
Em breve, mostraremos a série completa em outra ocasião.

MORTA SIM, BERLIN!
[Morgen Ist Die Frage]
(2021)
From Morta Sim, Feia Nunca (2015–2017), confronting politics, religion, and LGBTQIAPN+ rights in Brazil.
Reactivated in Berlin during the pandemic with Tay Moreira across five iconic sites — including Berghain, which, in times of uncertainties, also became an art space with Morgen Ist Die Frage, by Rirkrit Tiravanija. Tomorrow is the question.
Selected for the ZK/U – Center for Art and Urbanistics residency — this is the first work in circulation.
